Currenlty popular musicians that break the mold

Who are some musicians that are popular (in the mainstream to at least a degree) that break the mold of absolute shite that is being pushed on us with pretty much every popular genre?
For me I would have to say Zac Brown Band for country Gaslight Anthem for rock (although I admit I haven't been following them much lately). Honestly I'm just bored with studying and looking for some new music out of procrastination.

Only one I can think of is Dwight Yoakam, but then I don't really pay attention to what is popular or mainstream all that much so not really sure who would qualify as such.

Have you turned on a county station in the past year? I'm not saying every song ZBB does is a masterpiece by any stretch, but they do have several really good songs and are at least talented as musicians. Which is rare for pop country
