When was the last time LSU had two consecutive seasons with 1 or fewer losses?

Nope Jefferson only started against Auburn twice and went 1-1.

I guess we technically had 2 losses in the 1959 season if you count the Sugar Bowl.

Yep the answer to that part was 1961 (10-1) and 1962 (9-1-1)...

ANSWER: Barrett Booth '36 and '37 season.

Interesting that it's been so long, but it helps that we hardly played Auburn before SEC expansion. We went 27 years without playing them at one point. That would go over SO well with the Rant if we were still doing that...
