I think this will all come down to the letter of the law, and his twitter account will not make a lick of difference. However, I can see the NFL using this to help there case against the NFLPA, regardless of its silliness.

Let the league start to view him as a WR and see what his production ends up being. Like that Holder article showed, he can't do much against CB's unless it's a jumpball situation..........because...................basketball.

The fact that someone's twitter profile could factor in to this is pretty stupid to me, but I think if I were Jimmy, I would have changed that a long time ago.

Come on, Graham. They are writing articles about it now.

I don't think it will either. The problem, to me, isn't if he is a TE or WR. I think its clear that he is a TE. The question is if he deserves to get paid like a WR. Changing his official roster spot isn't going to happen. Just how much money he makes.

He's not going to win, he's got about a 15-20% chance at coming out on top. He'll get paid in the middle ground here. What everyone wants to know is how it will effect the cap.

Being that they are barely under the cap (by 1.5 Mil or something) and his tag hit is on the book for 7.1 mil or something, anything additional will result in some restructuring or cuts.

Everyone knows, even Jimmy, that he is a TE. It is total BS to call him a WR.

The ruling will come down as a TE, and we will work out a deal to make him one, if not the highest paid TE, Jimmy will be happy, and we can start concentrating on the season instead of this soap opera.

All they need to do is bring New England and Seattle game film to the hearing. That should prove a point real quick.

I think it has to.

For the record, the league doesn't want anything to come from this. Otherwise, this opens Pandoras Box of clever agents schemes with the NFL.

ive used it as an example of him calling himself a TE for months now. If you call yourself a TE for every accomplishment you have ever had, and every interview youve ever given, its hard to make a compelling case that you are suddenly a WR.
