NYT: Captured Suspect Said Benghazi Attack Was Revenge For Anti-Islam Video
Ahmed Abu Khatallah, the suspect captured by U.S. special forces on Tuesday for his role in the 2012 Benghazi attack, reportedly said he was motivated in part by the anti-Islam online video made in America, according to the New York Times.
"What he did in the period just before the attack has remained unclear. But Mr. Abu Khattala told other Libyans in private conversations during the night of the attack that he was moved to attack the diplomatic mission to take revenge for an insult to Islam in an American-made online video," Times reporter David Kirkpatrick wrote in a story on Khattala on Tuesday.
Immediately following the attack, Khattala declined to say whether the video had anything to do with his role in the Benghazi attack, according to the Times.
The New York Times reported in December that the attack was fueled in part by the anti-Islam video, but did not link Khattala to the video in that investigation.
The scandal surrounding the Obama administration's response to Benghazi was centered on whether or not the attack was related to protests surrounding the video.(uh nope. The scandal was the alleged coverup)

Susan Rice, Hildog, Barry and his henchmen have been redeemed at last! They must've cut a sweet deal with him quite quickly to sell this narrative. Good, so now this is 'out of the way', will Hildog come forward to explain why there wasn't adequate security there?

You could see this bullshite coming a mile away. It's fricking sad really, the NYT has no shame, they write nothing until they are given the talking points to write about.

So they had him immediately after and talking to him?

And now it was the video?
They talked to him 2 years ago and had to go 'secretly' capture him now?
And wallah!!! This One man was the reason for it all.
They can now release him as no future threat. See, it was not a lie and you peoples are racists and hate Obama and Hillary is clean and Rice was telling the truth because she knows and....
So now, there is no need to further investigate.

You have to be a weak and simple minded person to get that upset over a fricking video.

Yeah - this is pretty obvious.
It took them the two years to negotiate the conditions of his capture/admission it was the video.
Last deal - OK, we will capture you in a secret raid. You will blame the video. We will bring you to DC and give you a great lawyer and a jury who are sympathetic. We won't be able to produce any "evidence" because of national security complications. We may have to find you guilty of some reduced charge with a minimal sentence so we can cover our asses, but you will be taken care of for the rest of your life. You will be a rock star with the jihadists. Deal??

Do they really believe we're this stupid?
Never mind - it's a rhetorical question, to which the answer is probably yes.
Sad part is - collectively, they're probably right.

If the WH knew a long time before his arrest that this guy was instrumental in the attack why in the hell would they leave him out there to possibly or probably plan more attacks? We arrest suspects all the time here in the states before making a case against a suspect. All I've heard from the Obama pundits on tv this morning is that the WH needed the time to make a case against him.
I would think only shills and weak minded people would believe that garbage of an excuse.

Has to be true. Because I walk around every day with one of these in my pocket just in case you insult my religious beliefs in a YouTube video.
Oh look, I lost my e-mails for the past three years as well!
