Lots of this planted along with corn, wheat, and sunflowers. Can't identify it. Any ideas?

Would morning glory be good on a dove field? DNR planted a ton of this stuff from what I could tell.

Nah, it's just a weed, and it's a bitch. If they don't do something about it, the dove field will be overrun by it.
What is DNR?
eta: I guess they would probably eat it because it does have a seed, but I would hate to deal with that shite in a dove field.

Department of Natural Resources (in SC)
This stuff was deliberately planted in sections of the field. I might go back in a few weeks and check on its progress.

I've never heard of anybody planting morning glory's on purpose. It might would be alright for erosion purposes or something. I don't know... Just as a cotton and soybean farmer, I know that shite's gotta go as soon as you see one. We just plant sunflowers for dove fields and try to keep them as clean as possible.
It's just going to turn into a bunch of vines covering the ground and wrapping around whatever crop is growing vertically.

doesn't morning glory have like a butterfly leaf or something, I thought they were pretty distinctive.
looks like some type of volunteer from last years plantings after they disc. But I defer to a farming type.
