When did the extreme pita on Essen close?

Wasn't great but was a pretty decent quick and light eating option.

Damn, that sucks.
Like you said, a quick and healthy option.

I wonder how Zorba's is doing in that area? I don't see Essen being that great of a location.

I hadn't been in a while, but it seemed like they had a decent business from the hospitals. I enjoyed it when I went, it just never was convenient to get to for me.

Zorba's is more of a night time place. And traffic on Essen isn't that horrible in the evening. A place like Extreme Pita, I imagine almost all they did must have been lunch business

Was phenomenal when Vas was in charge at old Perkins location circa 1999. Man that was a good place back in the day.

Zorbas and Ichibans (probably due to the Scona roll) seem go do pretty well in that area. Not sure how that other sushi place and Times Grill do though

They all do pretty well at lunch. Last time I went to Times will be last time. It wasn't very good and the service sucked.
India's, Zorbas and Ichibans all three do very well at night. No idea about Copeland's and I'm not a fan of Marcellos. Not sure about Italian Pie around the corner either.
Extreme Pita had problems with corporate owners I believe more than anything else.

I ate there like 3 or 4 times. I really liked it. Sad to hear it go.

ah well I went by at like 6:30 and it was shut down, inside looked like a place that closed shop. Good to hear though
