thanks. I'm sure I will. I've just packed too much into a month to where I haven't really done too much research

I got married
I packed up everything
I went to an exhausting wedding that was a full 3 days (including a 15 hour bachelor party)
I moved to Texas
Unpacking

and work is super fricking busy

the metro there will take you anywhere

go to Park Güell

go to the nightclubs (specifically Razzmatazz) on the beach and do a lot of blow

lots of paella

I did a free walking tour and had a cute Irish girl leading us

nude beaches are overrated, I saw maybe one good set of tits, a lot of bad sets

Excellent city for a bike tour (Mike's Bikes in old town).

Also great city for the double decker get-on, get-off bus tour. Sounds cheesy, but you catch the highlights around the city i.e. Barca's futbol stadium.

Great paella at the pier. Walk over pedestrian bridge (rambla del mar) away from Columbus statue. When you get to other side restaurant on your left.

you'll need to ferry over to Ibiza to do better.

Ibiza is apparently the shite...two girls going with us missed their flight to Barca and the fastest way to get to Barca was fly into Ibiza and flight then to Barca way early in the morning

they went and partied for a night and had some crazy stories

I don't remember much specifics because it was 8 years ago but it is my favorite European city out of the 10 I have been to.

OK, going to Ibiza is taking it up two notches. Ibiza is the nightclubbing capital of the Med. Bring extra money. Lots of it, you'll need it.

Ferry Information

Google Images "Ibiza" ... maybe not a great 'honeymoon' destination.

Do want to go. I hear it's incredible. But probably wouldn't take a new wife there.

Unfortunately, Ibiza is only like that during the summer :(

During the time I was looking at traveling to Spain, it's a ghost town.

Mike's Bikes

I think there is one of these in every city in the world. I wonder how many are actually run by a guy named Mike.

While on a cruise my 12 y.o. son makes friends with the Captain's son. Ship stops at Ibiza, all ashore. Captain's son goes to his Mom on the beach for some $$. Mom sits up with a nice pair catching some rays.

My 12 y.o. son likes Ibiza ..

Started in Munich. Mike branched out to Barcelona, then split with the partner.

Yeah, not sure how many are actually run by Mike.

Often the sites in a city are too far to walk, but who wants to be in a taxi / car all day? Bike tour is a great way to see a bike-friendly city.

And to reiterate, don't short sell the get-on, get-off bus. Always on your first day to a new city, gives you the overview. You can then go back to spots you'd like to spend a bit more time.

Going on a Mediterranean cruise and will stop at Barcelona on July 6th. We're headed to Montserrat. Friends who have been to Barcelona before say it's a "must see".
