I like him and Derek Rae, also Arlo White on NBC. Efen Okoku and Kasey Keller are good as color guys, as is NBC's Kyle Martino. All are far better than Twellman.

Word. Twellman is pretty awful, but Sir Ian is the best out there. I wish he and Macca would call US games. They are great together. Macca is honest, not biased, and funny, whereas Twellman is just a fricking douche.

I agree, but having TWO Brits announce our matches would be irksome to me. Gotta be at least one American accent in there or else we're just playing the Queen's game.

Wynalda, yes. I don't think Twellman is THAT bad when paired with Darke. It's when Twellman is in the studio that he starts doucheing it up.

I prefer commentators that aren't American when I watch my soccer. It doesn't make me anti American. I just prefer the more subtle approach to calling a game, rather than Gus Johnson screaming at me every time a cross is put in. They're also usually more knowledgable and not Taylor Twellman.

Kyle Martino on NBC is very good. I also like Keller although some on the board have criticized him.
McBride may be okay one day. He is certainly not a douche, but he is a bit slow in getting to his points in the studio.

Every other country has their own people announcing their national team. Gotta have at least one American.... if nothing else have 2 Brits and Tracey Wolfson down on the field.
