He had soooo many poor passes/turnovers. I am curious if we have anyone that could replace him if his play continues to be poor.

His "General" nickname doesn't fit him on the big stage.

Agree/Disagree?

He had a bad game.

He is still the best player on our team.

He definitely sucked this game but I'm gonna reserve judgment until Portugal.

He was terrible, but no, we don't have anyone to replace him. Hes one of our best players.

He has played many good games for us, including other marquee match-ups. I have no idea what went wrong today. At least his fellow midfielders played really well today.

Nonsense. Who would you replace him with?

He'll be fine.

Calm down.
Bradley had a game EXACTLY like this last world cup during group play. Then he came back the next game and was on fire. I expect the same to happen again.

Lobbing the ball to the keeper in stoppage time defied any explanation. Wasn't his best effort, but wasn't terrible.

He was an unmitigated disaster.

And he's my favorite player on the team.

Yep...

And another positive is that our best player, arguably, was our worst player on the field. And we still beat Ghana.

Other guys stepped up and picked up the slack. Which was huge. And those guys are also the guys that a lot of people were worried about (Becks, JJ, Cameron).

I don't think he has played against a great midfield like Ghana has recently. All of their front 6 are good, some great.

I was screaming "RUN TO THE frickING CORNER" at the tv.

I fully expect him to be back to normal next match.

Can anybody explain our lack if patience every time we finally gained possession?

ALWAYS looking to quickly grab a second goal, but it just meant we never stopped running.

Was as bad as I've ever seen him. And wtf was he doing crossing the ball with a minute left

I don't think the diamond suits him. He need more passing options even or ahead of him. As much as Klinsmann is trying to avoid it, I think his best spot is paired up with Jones/Beckerman at the base of a 4-2-3-1.

It's hard. They ran a lot. They're not all that experienced at that level against players like Prince, Essien, and Muntari. I think Twellman (braces) put it pretty well. It's something that comes with high level experience, and it's not exactly something that's necessarily first nature

Wrt Bradley, I think he went into Zeman mode

Pretty much this.

It was scary how much Ghana's midfield dominated the match but most expected that to happen.

Ghana probably has the physically strongest, quickest midfield in the tournament and with pretty good technical skill as well.

Bradley will be fine and I'd bet he has a great match against Portugal.

For the comment about it being "too late" to replace Bradley. It's been too late since the 80s when Vidal, Toure or De Rossi weren't born in USA.

Exactly. Replacing Bradley would be like removing one of our top players from the roster.
