All the high quality graphics from e3 2012 that people have been comparing the retail version to and saying it was not the same game bc of the gimped textures, etc, have been found hidden in the PC data files.

They have people already putting out mods to activate these and are working on restoring the PC version back to it's E3 glory

Mind boggling to me why UbiSoft would purposely gimp the game like that on PC

Ubisoft gonna Ubisoft. They just couldn't let the consolers know how inferior they actually are.

Finally. This game was unplayable without the rain drops refracting the headlights from cars. Don't even get me started on the improper shadowing.

An nVidia employee or fan probably found this.

probably not unplayable, but it certainly made it clear the PC version is a lot better than the console version

How much VRAM are the mods eating up?

I have never hit 3GBs on a game which looked dry and lifeless plus isn't running any mods, even open world titles.

EDT: This title had me thinking about selling the cards for Titan Blacks, but I came from Titans to 780 Tis because VRAM wasn't an issue yet @ 1440.

Then realized it wasn't my main lacking resources, not even close, this was just a quickly put together bad of taco shtt.
