What happened yesterday when he put Sipp in LF?

no reason to be knee jerk about Bo. he is in his second year. he is still growing...give him time and don't pull the fire the manager card this early. In Bo I trust.

He killed the DH.

Sipp replaced Williams

Sipp to LF, Grossman out

Zeid in to pitch (this killed Carter as the DH, who wasn't even part of the move).

Sipp back in to pitch, Presley to LF

Then in the bottom of the 9th we had to pinch hit Altuve for Sipp's place in the order.

Just a straight up national league move in the fricking American League. And it hurt us

I'm not knee jerking about Bo.

But he does deserve criticism for yesterday.

You can't kill your DH down by 1 run. We're lucky we didn't tie it and go to extras because the lineup would have been completely jacked up

Yesterday he exhibited that he did not know the rules of the American League. That's unacceptable in a manager.

We were doomed from the beginning when Bo decided we were going to lose anyway and decided to give the better hitters in our lineup 2 days of rest.

ETA: I reject these series long DATS. We had 4 losses in our last 15 games, mess with success and start these series long DATs and boom we get 3 losses in 7 games to two of baseballs worst teams.

You're angry because he pinch hit with the team's best hitter?

No. Not about pinch hitting. At that point he had to.

But what if we had tied it in the 9th. What if we had to play 16 innings? It jacked up the lineup so bad. It was just a dumb move. He was trying to be cute.

I'm more pissed that we left Jerome in the game so long

I'm not so worried about Porter. There's no manager/coach perfect. Ever.

With that said, what the frick is the front office thinking...?

Here's a possible bullpen roster at one point....

Williams
Clemens
Veras

I just woke up in 2013? The frick? You can't tell me that the guys at OKC aren't good enough to give a shot outside of these three??

This really isn't news. I mean, we know we have 2 weeks before any more movement, I guess?

quote:

“We’ve been in contact with everybody that’s in the game, and there’s some activity,” Crane said. “There’s been some interest from some private equity firms.”

quote:

Crane’s said the Astros’ recent improvement has sparked viewers’ interest in the team.

“We’ve gotten lots of calls the last couple of weeks,” he said. “People want to watch the games. We’ve got to get them on.

Day off fodder, I assume.

It past pathetic, it is really killing the Astros

You can't get fans back if they can't watch the games. As much as I like following gamecAst on my phone, it's pretty fricking boring to most

When I was 14 they every game was on the radio and all road games were on the local channel in BR. Home games were not on because they were on Home Sports Entertainment, which we didn't get. This shite is bad.

I think this is overestimation.

Have you seen the crowds since they look competent? I get what you're saying, but the crowds are starting to go back.

Everyone says that they'll never go back or the crowds will never go back blah blah.

That's the root of it but fans from outside of Houston are coming back in droves until it's on tv

if they continue to be respectable adn the young players continue to flourish it will help both at the turnstyle and on the TV deal side. The deal WILL get done and it will get done before opening day next season or there will be no comcast sports channel.

I'm ready for the following:

Insert Folty into the 4 spot in the rotation
Move Peacock to the bullpen
DFA Williams
