1921 for seafood...chargrilled oysters and crawfish. Went Friday night and the crawfish were absolute monsters and easy to peel.

Cristiano's is very good - the lamb (agnello) is phenomenal.

Song Phi Nong is good for Thai food.

Griffins or The French Loaf for awesome po-boys.

Big Mikes BBQ is very good.

You might want to hop over to Thibodaux and tour DPD Distillery: LINK

I haven't made it yet. Love the gin. Haven't tried anything else.

Not no, but Hell no. Went here with the family Saturday night bc my grandparents wanted to go...first time I'd been since I was maybe 8 years old. It was horrible...they were out of everything. It was steak night so you get steak and a baked potato, waitress came out and said she was out of potatoes...comes back 15 minutes later with 4 hot already cooked potatoes...wtf?

Also, everything was cold...steaks were cold, fries were cold, onion rings were cold, my oyster poboy was cold, fried pickles were cold. It was just bad. I wanted étouffée but the waitress suggested something else, which is odd at a Cajun specialty restaurant. I don't know how they're still open.

Expensive, but worth it. West Main is my favorite pizza in the world...and I just got back from two weeks in Italy.
