It seems like the popular belief on tRant is that RR21 is the far superior corner. If you believe this, why so? Aside from RR21 having better size

Both are great. LSU has the luxury of cherry-picking corners.

Far superior is a stretch. Those who say he's better would probably cite the shutdown he put on a couple of very good receivers.

We've seen what T.White can do and we already know that he's going to be an absolute beast. We're just now seeing the skill that Robinson has to compliment White and that's what's so exciting.

I think Rashard was better in his time last year, but I don't think he is "far superior".

RR shutdown a top 10 pick in the draft. That's why.

Both play a lot alike, with the main differences IMO being that Tre White is a little better coming up and hitting on short passes and screens than Rashard, and Robinson seems like he plays the ball in the air a bit better.

White has a higher ceiling athletically and is more of a pure corner. Robinson is a bulldog and will hit you in the mouth.

I think the comments have been more that RR is underrated in comparison to TW. not that he's by far and away better.

Yep. So that way we can shut all of the routes down they they can try to run. Especially with capable nickels and dimes in Paris, Collins, and Thomas with a whole array of safeties, this defense could be dominant with only a 4 man rush.

Both are REALLY good cover corners and we are fortunate to have them!

In the few snaps that I saw RR play, it seemed like he was able to get a few more PBUs. He also shutdown the Aggie WR. The tricky think about CBs is that while RR was deflecting passes, White possibly had his man smothered like a blanket on a new born baby. They are both very good players, IMO.

Yep, this would be ideal. We need several guys at DT to step up though, not just the starters. I think our DEs are going to be overlooked a bit early in the season, and that could definitely benefit us. Rasco and Hunter should get a lot of sacks with a little help.

We don't have a true #1 CB, IMO. Lock them down on one side, and let the other team make the mistake.

Those two will be the reason we win a title in 2015, along with our defensive line class we pulled in for '14.

Both are NFL caliber CBs and will be playing in the league in a couple of years. RR just has that very rare combination of size, athleticism (i.e. coordination), speed, and strength that it takes to be truly special IMO.
