Tope La for Father's Day yesterday...

My wife and I took my Father to Tope La yesterday in Hammond. Quite frankly it's one of the best meals I've had at a local restaurant. Ever.
We started off with char broiled oysters and they were savory. I haven't had them all over but they were fantastic. That was a theme for the meal. Fantastic flavor. My father commented that it is rare-if ever-that he doesn't reach for the salt or pepper during a meal. He never went for either yesterday.
Main courses (we all tasted each other's dishes):
Dad: Broiled Redfish w/Lemon Buerre Blanc
Wife: Chile Pepper Pasta w/Chicken
Me: Fried Crabcake Stuffed Snapper with artichoke, tomato and a Pepperjack cheese sauce
I'm biased but I had the best of the bunch. It was a very thin lunchtime weekend crowd so we had quick service and our food obviously had more attention to detail paid to it. I'm sure a Friday Night or Saturday Night Service may vary. I'm not from Hammond and don't kick around out there often at all. Had heard from a few folks about it in the past and we took a shot and had a great experience.
Food, service and the whole experience were great. Anyone else have similar experiences or just an opinion in general?

Love me some Tope La. Never had a bad meal, and prefer it over Jacmel at this point. I usually try to hit it up on a Tuesday night for lunch menu night since I am no ot baller.
