Just found out a friend of mine's dad killed himself.

He did it right in front of his wife after an argument. He shot himself in the face. He was 78, retired, wealthy. They were both alcoholics. So sad. I'm crushed for my friend.

Damn that is terrible. At least he didn't shoot the wife first, that happens a lot in those situations and that would have been way harder on your friend. I am sorry, that is such sad news to get.

True. And at least his son (the friend) didn't see it happen as well.

While this is my thoughts on this you have to realize that people that get to this point have lost all reason and thought process.
It really is a shame that the mind can go so far past the line for some people that it comes to that.
