I think they could survive.
Price is Right changing the game turned me off more than switching hosts.

Jeopardy no.

Wheel yes. I've watched videos from when Chuck Woolery hosted Daytime Wheel before Sajak took over and it got syndicated at night. Chuck was a much better, smoother host than Pat IMO. Pat Sajak is bland to me.

Ya'll really think Jeopardy couldn't find another guy with no personality to stand there and read answers?

I heard that Trebek is retiring in the next couple of years so we will find out.

My thoughts exactly. Both hosts are so bland they could be replaced by a fence post.

Jeopardy will be fine. Jeopardy is more about the players than the host. Especially since they changed the rules to allow unlimited wins.

Could Wheel of Fortune survive without Vanna White?....

What a job. Became rich for just turning letters.

Art Fleming hosted Jeopardy for 11 years in the 60's - 70's as a daytime show. They could probably find another. Price is Right needs a more dynamic host than Jeopardy

Jeopardy was around before Alex Trebek. It will be fine without him as long as they don't get some comedian. Ben Stein might be a good choice.

Price is Right messed up when they picked Drew. Wayne Brady should have been a no brainer.

I think WOF will be fine, but I don't think Jeopardy could.

He's 69 years old. Think the new host should be in their 30s/40s so you can - in theory - have a very long run with them.

Doesn't have to be anyone special either. Just needs to be able to read well and awkwardly transition between questions during the meet the contestants portion.

Isn't the price is right still one of the highest rated daytime shows even with Drew Carey as host?

I think the most acceptable jeopardy host would be Ken Jennings.

He'd have to work on it a lot though. A lot.

Fun Fact: I met this contestant the other day....he said he's not allowed to appear on Jeopardy again until there is a new host.

Seems like strange rule.
