Here's a pic of Judy not soaking wet. Dogs are impossible to take good pictures of.

She's getting adjusted pretty well.

She's still not in the best shape. Also have to call the vet tomorrow to find out what to do with these staples from her getting spayed.

That's a good looking pup. Other than the staples from spaying what's wrong?

If she doesn't work out with me I'll let you know.

She had mange, ear mites, and worms. I'd hate to know how much money that lady spent on her just to give her away. I'm going to call her and send her a check for it or at least some of it if she'll take it and I keep her.

I'll bring her hunting when she looks like she's ready to go. I'm guessing within two weeks she'll be ready. I'll be in panama most of next week so I won't be able to fool with her. If somebody wants to borrow her monday-thursday you're more than welcomed to.

You're a goodman Boss. Keep the board posted in her progress. I'd have more than my 2 mutts if it weren't for the wife. Good to see someone take in an abandoned animal.

Well to be fair, if there was zero chance of her being a coon dog I wouldn't have her.

Don't give me that much credit. She's going to have to become a coon dog to stay.

What are some signs that you'll look for in the coming weeks and months of her progress to becoming a coon dog?

She'll have to show potential. How quick she has to show it depends on her attitude. If she keeps acting good she'll get more of a chance than if she starts being a problem.

Have the vet take them out 10-14 days after the spay was done.

Just by looking, they look like they've been in there too long already.

Thanks.

I think she'll pan out. Sucks that I have to leave for most of next week though.

That's a shame, but a good long life for the dog.
