Why not build a PC for gaming and get a MacBook Air for everything else.

I'm a huge Apple fan and love my MacBook Air but if you are a big time gamer, a MacBook is probably not your best choice.
I play Kerbal Space Program and a couple of other games on my Air which is great, but if you are wanting high end gaming performance I'd advice a PC.
As I've said for years, Macs are not for tinkerers or gamers.
