2014 Football Depth Chart Discussion: UPDATED

Hi Tiger Nation. This is my opinion on how the depth chart will look heading into the Wisconsin game. I realize some positions of interest are QB, RB, and MLB. These are the starters that I believe CLM will choose that gives us the best chance to win. Regarding the RB position, I do think Fournette will be the starter at some point, just not the first week.
OFFENSE:
QB : Jennings, Harris
RB: Magee, Hilliard, Fournette, Williams
FB: Neighbors, M. Jones
WR(X): Dural, Peterson, Dupre
WR(Y): Diarse, Quinn, Leslie
TE: Gordon, Smith, Stokes, Dickson, Washington
LT: L. Collins, Boutte
LG: V. Alexander, Washington, Malone
C: Pocic, Porter
RG: Fanaika, Austin, Brumfield
RT: Hawkins, Domond
DEFENSE:
DE: Hunter, Bower
DT: Herron, Q. Thomas(injury), Bain
DT: Lacouture, Gilmore, Valentine
DE: Rasco, Neal
OLB: K. Alexander, Riley
MLB: Beckwith, Welter, Garrett
OLB: Louis, Debo
CB: White, D. Thomas, Gage
SS: Martin, Jefferson, Battle
Nickel/Dime: D. Thomas, Adams
FS: Mills(suspension?), Adams, Thompson, Voorhies
CB: Robinson, J. Collins, Paris
SPECIAL TEAMS:
K: Delahoussaye/Gamble
P: Keehn
LS: Ferguson
KR: Magee, Quinn, Dural, Adams
PR: Quinn, Dural, Chark, Adams
Here's to another successful season and a National Title run
ETA:
Changed Jennings to starter, Louis to start instead of Debo, and Pocic instead of Porter. I still have Dupre behind Peterson because it will take him a couple weeks of adjusting. Just like Fournette, though, I expect Malachi to be playing and making a significant impact very soon.
Regarding the QB position: do I think Harris will be starting at some point in the season? Maybe. But just not week 1.

I see Adams at KR or PR.

I have a feeling that Dupre wont be third string.

No way Harris starts over Jennings IMO

The "starter" at running back is all but meaningless.

If Harris gets bigger and can keep his speed he will definitely start, unless he is behind Jennings with playbook knowledge.
Writing my depth chart I realized how deep our defense will be this year especially at linebacker. We should get really good play out of them. LSU's defensive front heavily relies on the linebackers and that's something we lacked last year.
I think there will be heavy rotation with our safeties until the Chavis finds who he can trust the most. We should have a very fast and hard hitting defense this year.

Jennings is the starter

If D.J. Chark has a good summer in the weight room, he is going to get involved in special teams as an option for PR and KR ahead of Paris

I agree. I think PR and KR are just wild guesses for anyone right now. There's so many guys who can return kicks on this team.

Welter will be starting the season at Mike LB.

Idk about that .....

DT play is the key to this defense. Everyone else will be stout.
QT is a RS junior, time for him to step up.

Did you watch the spring game?
You forgot Colin Jeter at TE.
About our safety's, anyone could start. Would love to have a vet back there but who knows when mills will be back, And I'm not sold on Martin or Thompson. Ricky is very talented but young. If I had to guess id say Thompson and mills game 1 starters.
