Europe: England
South America: Argentina
Africa: Nigeria
Asia: SK

And the rest...too small to care.

I'm pulling for Argentina and Spain outside of the US. Otherwise it is a match by match decision.

Argentina and Bosnia. Croatia and Spain to some extent, plus any Celtic players/former players.

Dutch

it's where the family are from

But like the NCAA tourney, i'll pull for the upsets, when they have lead or tied in 2nd half, i think many do.

I want to see players I like do well, so I guess their teams. I would be content with these teams doing well.

Luka Modric - Croatia
Cristiano Ronaldo - Portugal
Luis Suarez - Uruguay

The only team I really care about is the USMNT as well as Mexico and Ghana going down.

Belgium, B-H, and I'd like to see Messi do well.

Uruguay and England... Don't care about others

Edit: but I also like most of the South American teams... I guess it wouldn't suck for Messi to win a WC

Don't see why you would. I think the majority of posters here want to see CONCACAF teams do well...except for Mexico. Because frick them, that's why.

I go for the ancestors. Germany #1 then England. Ireland would have been #2 if they would have qualified. My wife goes for Spain, Italy, and England as those are her ancestors.

Been to two countries outside the US: Thailand and the Netherlands. Don't think rooting for Thailand will do much good here.

But really at this point it's whoever helps my bracket on this boards bracket challenge.
