leaked. I like it so far. First two songs are killer. Liking it better than the previous album.

Here we go again, you.

Grabbed it this AM, but haven't given it a full listen yet.

Like everything they have done including The Hunter, was it their best? No but still loved it. Thing is with Mastodon they will experiment and change styles but the musicianship is always great.

Great band. Another great & different album for their catalogue. Branns vocals really shine on this one. Musicianship is incredible as usual. Hoping to catch them on their US tour.

I'd love to see them at Voodoo - missed them a couple of years ago because I was driving cross country.

A couple of songs in right now. I like it better than the last one so far. Seems more thought out, less "When does the tour leave? shite! Really? Well here's the album I guess."

couldn't agree more; Brann kills it singing chorus on The Motherload and Ember City. see these guys all the time at different bars in ATL. love how humble they are; they're becoming bigger and bigger but still just normal dudes;

album has been on repeat for the past week and I'm even trying to play drums along on my kit; a much easier album to play to then some of their past but still very difficult; his fills are insane

I've listened to this a few times now and I have to say I'm disappointed. Its on par with Blood Mountain as their worst album. Not terrible overall, but nowhere near as good as some of their other stuff.

I agree but also think nothing will ever stack up against their first four albums. That being said, this is a solid record. My only two complaints are the ending of "Aunt Lisa" and I wish Brent had more vocals. I think it's better than The Hunter.
