News:
-- Timmy Chandler is a pussy, is injured, will be nat'l hero if he intentionally hurt himself as to not be able to play.

-- Brazil obviously sucks Donkey balls.

-- Neigh-mar is basically a bad imitation of Brad Davis.

-- David Luiz is way worse than Jonathan Bornstein.

-- Oscar is 21 and scores on his WC debut. Julian Green is younger, has less experience and still is better. He will score 14 goals over the next month.

-- Scolari is a bigger bitch than Alex Ferguson.

-- If you're some negative Nancy who liked watching Brazil pass, dive, complain, and win, well frick THAT! The USMNT doesn't pass short very often, dive much, complains a lot, and wins Gold Cups.

-- Michael Bradley > Brazil

-- Timmy Howard >>> Julio Queer-sar

REMINDER:

The Mexicans (your gardeners, drug dealers, car makers, builders, workman, cheap prostitutes, Texans) are playing tomorrow. frick THEM.

The World Cup starts today. Even though my number wasn’t called I’m extremely proud and happy that I could be a part of our qualification to this great tourney. Despite everyone saying the odds are against us, I have the US in my heart. Looking forward to watching our boys display that “American Spirit!” Looking back as a kid, I have so many great memories of experiencing our first World Cup right in our own backyard - USA ’94. My friends and I bleached our heads like the great Gheorge Hagi and the Romanian team to the dismay of our parents (not something I recommend for any 10 year olds reading this... ????). But from those sweet denim USA jerseys, Wynalda’s free kick, Juergen’s spectacular turn and volley vs. S. Korea, to Romario’s famous toe pokes - such an unreal finisher - I instantly created many heroes that summer. I loved Campos’ style so much I even started out playing as a keeper. Man, just thinking about it all gets me pumped. I guess I’m still a fan at heart. Of all the WC memories though - one stands out. Finally there, hand on heart signing our national anthem before the Algeria game, it finally hits me… not only am I in the World Cup but I’m about to start in the biggest game in US soccer history. A game that we would win. Minute 91, tie game, zero-zero and barring a miracle we are going home... I see Timmy snatch a ball in mid air and start the counter. Patented USA counter with LD at the helm. Timmy dishes to Landon, who darts in to space and does what Landon does best, finds the best passing option, a streaking Jozy over-lapping on the right. I along with everyone else on our team bench starts to stand. Jozy slots the ball across to Duece, there it is! I'm thinking Clint buries this. The keeper makes himself big and does a great job of stopping Clint from clinching it.. No! I said. Then the ball comes loose and out of nowhere comes Landon and crushes it home! Gooooooooooaalll!!! Euphoria. The next 30-45 seconds are a blur. All I remember is sprinting to LD like a mad man with the guys, and it's complete chaos. Bodies on top of bodies. Somersaults and flips without regard for anything else but the celebration. We were, even if for just a moment, the same as our heroes.

I really love Herc. He's such a leader out there for the squad whenever he plays. He always gives his darndest to score and win for his Country. Great man!

I got goosebumps reading this.
