why is the southbound causeway bridge a lot more bumpy than the northbound side?

It's noticeably different in a bad way. Especially so pulling a trailer, that's when you can really tell a difference.
Anyone else notice this?
I'm guessing they were in a hurry to finish it and messed up.

I don't find either of them bumpy and drive it a couple times a week after driving it each day for two years.

When they first built the bridge it was only the southbound side, with two-way traffic. It's 13 years older than the northbound stretch.

Isn't it older? I used to have a toyota 4 runner and it felt like I was riding a bull.

The spans on the northbound side are longer, thus less bumps.
Also, were made to account for sag better. Some sort of post tension type shite. A CE will chime in.
ETA: Age really doesnt have shite to do with it.
ETA2: distance apart from each other are the same and the distance of the span on the northbound side. Hence the crossovers.

FWIW the Causeway needs to be expanded and rebuilt.

Anybody ever have the nightmare where you took an exit ramp off the causeway into the middle of the lake, that went up into the sky and was built on 2X4's and scrap lumber?
Anybody?
Anybody?

I drive it frequently pulling trailers in work vehicles, and also in smaller, smoother rides.
Whoever compared it to a bull ride is right.

Could be in a good way if you hire a hooker to give you a blowie southbound.

It's to prepare you for the arse-raping you may face on the Southshore.

It has zero to do with shocks

Buttholes, arse rapings, bad shocks and short spans....
