Concept was believable. Time line was well done. The enemy was a fabulously different concept. Cruise was excellent, and possibky one of his best roles. Thought provoking. Tons of action. Comedy usage was on point

Everyone needs to see it

Finally watched this movie today. As everyone has said, it was surprisingly good. Really entertaining.

And I just can't get the image of a sweaty Emily Blunt out of my head. She was so hot in this.

The Full Metal Bitch

Movie is awesome though. Really fun, cool concept, and great visual effects.

Good movie, but it is the John Carter/Pacific Rim for this year. Good movie that just didn't get the box office numbers that one would hope for.

Good comparison, but not bad company to be in at all.

How dare you lump Pacific Rim in with John Carter!?!

And it is a good movie, but How to Train Your Dragon 2 is clearly #1 right now.

Haven't seen a 2014 movie yet but Grand Budapest Hotel releases in 4 days on Netflix so that will be the first.

Edge of Tomorrow will be in the queue when available.

I thought it was great. Best original sci-fi I've seen in years.

Cruise and Blunt were great. The cinematography was on point. Michael Bay should take notes. If you have a good script you don't need a camera angle that is upside down and spinning on a lateral and vertical axis simultaneously. Also, when you have a good leading woman, who happens to be gorgeous, you don't need to pause the movie for a Maxim photoshoot.

The story developed at a great pace. Felt like, me figuring it out was on track with the main characters figuring it out. I enjoy being surprised, which I was at numerous points (opening deal, meeting Blunt, their connection, story driving concept, helicopter/farm, bridge, Louvre)

Ya'll really liked JC and PR? WTF, I thought those were trash.

I agree with all of this. I didn't want it to end.

I watched some of JC on TV and I didn't like it.

Pacific Rim is the most awesome dumb movie ever.

My Roommate and I were running late for Godzilla last month and were trying to decide what to see. We were going to go with "Edge of Tomorrow" to watch Tom Crews die repeatedly, but "22 Jump Street" had just come out that day and we saw that instead. I want to see "Edge of Tomorrow", but I don't regret that decision at all.

I've heard really good things about 22 Jump Street, I just don't do comedies that often.

I hate laughter.

I really liked this movie as well and I completely hate Cruise. This movie would of done a lot better with someone else, but I thought he filled the role perfectly. People just hate him too much.

That doesn't even make sense. Although I agree there are much better actors out there, tom cruise is the definition of a movie star. He commands $20M/a movie because of his draw. If people didn't go to movies specifically to see Cruise, he would not command the amount of money he does. To say that another actor draws a bigger audience is asinine.

He is too polarizing now, he use to be a fantastic draw. Now people hate him because of his crazy Scientologist ways. The internet is not a fan of Cruise.

Other actors aren't as polarizing and don't alienate a good chunk of people by just their name alone. Especially the group that is your core demographic.
