Two wars. All that debt. 15 years of fighting. And no net gain at all.

The US could have gotten the job done after 9/11 with airstrikes and saved all the bullshite. Everyone was blinded by war fever.

Why can't we just admit that Islam in its current form is not compatible with stability and civilization?

Possibly. That is the real question.

That would suggest we should go ahead and pull up stakes in Afghanistan right now. No reason to wait another year +.

I just worry about our effectiveness with airstrikes only. It seems a believer of Obama's policy of zero forces left in Iraq would have prepared to destroy (airstrikes) these invading forces when they started???

I think you can bank on a civil war.

From the CIA factbook:

Ethnic groups: Pashtun 42%, Tajik 27%, Hazara 9%, Uzbek 9%, Aimak 4%, Turkmen 3%, Baloch 2%, other 4%

Languages: Afghan Persian or Dari (official) 50%, Pashto (official) 35%, Turkic languages (primarily Uzbek and Turkmen) 11%, 30 minor languages (primarily Balochi and Pashai) 4%, much bilingualism, but Dari functions as the lingua franca

note: the Turkic languages Uzbek and Turkmen, as well as Balochi, Pashai, Nuristani, and Pamiri are the third official languages in areas where the majority speaks them

Religions: Sunni Muslim 80%, Shia Muslim 19%, other 1%

Population: 31,822,848

Age structure: 0-14 years - 42%, 15-24 years - 22.2%

Afghanistan's been in a civil war since the 1970s. The US involvement is simply another chapter of the war.

Just like the US in Vietnam was just a chapter in their war for independence from colonialism.

What are you talking about? We are getting exactly what we went in for.
1) We control the poppies
2) How long does it take to build a pipeline the length of the country?
3) $10 trillion (according to Afghan President Hamid Kharzai) in natural resources.

How can you say there was no gain?

You are such a tool.
Maybe you are correct and we can use the $10 trillion to pay off the war debt and shore up our budget. Wait, I forgot, that money is all going to the illumnati, so never mind.

I believe France recently proved out that diversity isn't a great thing as does the above. It is now it is the rule of the law that we must diversify in the United States.

Don't be ridiculous. Wars have never been fought for profit.

Afghanistan and Iraq really aren't the same. Sure, Afghanistan will go to complete shite when we leave but not to the level that Iraq is headed to. Afghanistan will just go back to being a complete shithole where everyone kills each other and nobody will give a frick.

Iraq has serious geopolitical consequences. The Iranians, Syrians, ISIS, Kurds are all involved right now. Wouldn't be surprised if Turkey, Russia and even the U.S. get involved. There is a lot more at stake in Iraq than there is in Afghanistan, despite what TxTiger says about the jew bankers wanting to control the poppy fields.
