To me, that's impressive the other way. I thought there were only like 6 episodes because I seemed to only catch the same ones over and over.

maybe its because the theme song was more memorable than the actual show, but when I think back to that era its always one of top shows I recall

Wasn't it Sponge?

Salute Your Shorts was a summertime show and Nickelodeon had a theme for a summer or two of shows around camp, summer vactation, etc. I think that only lasted for two years.

Here's a fact about Victorious:

The female members of the cast make my pants get tighter.

This makes me feel old and I want these years back. I don't think kids growing up with the current Nick, Cartoon Network and Disney will have as strong of a nostalgic connection as we do with these classics. Modern stuff doesn't seem as quality.

Someone in the comments mentioned Clarissa's dad as a regular on Mad Men.

Freaked me out when Pete caught Clarissa's dad in a whore house on Mad men.

the production value is horrendously bad

if you are able to watch some episodes on your computer, use headphones and you can hear all kinds of background noises, audio not syncing up, etc

Still loved that show as a kid

There was a thread on here a while back where we were talking about shite like that. I used to watch SYS almost daily, and never realized that the episodes repeated every few weeks. Same with old cartoons and shite...a lot of my favorite cartoons growing up had like small amounts of episodes, so apparently I watched a LOT of reruns as a kid.
