Government union wants 'Duck Dynasty' fans fired

I believe it's high time to pass some kind of amendment to do away with government unions. What they gonna do if they disapprove - quit? Good! FWIW to the pro union shills, I belonged to a private union for 41 years.

Sounds like even other union members are disturbed by this. Luckily, the Air Force has common sense and didn't fire them.
The ACLU should get involved here as this is a clear violation of free speech.

I'm currently a member of AFGE here at work, and this is stupid to say the least.
The only reason why I'm a member is because of how the current CBA is worded regarding employee grievances. The union is required to represent all employees--union or not--until arbitration, at which point the union can choose whether or not to invoke it. And their practice is: we'll invoke it if you're a member, if not, too bad. We have some managers who are pieces of work (to put it nicely) so I'm protecting myself.
Besides, all they could get out of the deal is to have the stickers removed and maybe an apology. The union can't force management to fire another manager (not that management ever would).
