For my Galvez people (prairieville) a question on bars

Moms bar...dive and skanky. Was a biker bar, now just borderline river trash.

Corner Bar...only once. Gtown old people trash. (Been 10 years)

Fwiw, one of the TD meth WYHI's was a bartender at corner bar for a year or so.

It will fail to live up to what you expect. Used to be big with bikers, not too much now.

For a culture shock google and visit Black Lake Club on Sunday afternoon. Awesome crabs...from what I recall.

If 4 regular looking dudes (one being a swole badass, me obviously) went in there, would the bikers kick our asses?

Usually, those are the friendliest places. If all else fails, pretend to be a cop and everyone will respect you. Or you'll end up dead.

Used to go to corner bar all the time. One of my favorite dives. Since you obviously use the Internet, you'll stand out in a place like that.

But like someone else said, they are the best people in the world. You will meet some characters in there for sure.

Never had the stones to go into moms.
