I think a lot of people don't realize just how good of a coordinator Coach Cameron is. Our offense could even be better with an extra year to add more of coach Cameron's game plan. If our defense can play better than last years, we will go no worse than 11-1.

Even after losing your quarterback, best running back, and two best wide receivers?

The offense will not out up the numbers we saw last year. We do have the advantage of teams having very little game tape of what we are running.

If the defense plays great, this team wins 9 regular season games. If not...

Last year's defensive output puts us at 8-4 this year. Anything better adds a game or 2. Great play will win us 10-11. I think the offense will screw it up a couple of times this season while they try to gain experience. Expect similar results to 2010/12 as far as record and the defense carrying the load.

The OP is drinking the Kool-Aid.

We lost our stud QB, RB, and 2 WRs. We have complete uncertainty at QB, by far the most important position on the offense.

If you think our offense is going to be better than last year's, you're simply a blind homer.

Plus, we have 7 tough games. I'm predicting 9-3.

The offense won't be better than last years in this upcoming season. In the next 2 years, when all these young players mature and gain experience, then yes maybe they could be better.

But next year? Nope.

defensive play is something that i consider to be a given, we will be very good on that side of the ball.

if we can get away with 65/35 on o, we will be scary good. we need kenny hilliard to step up.

The offense will take a drop...but not as much as the negas and the opposing fans want to believe.

The defense will be much better. I expect special teams to be improved as well.

10-2, 11-1.

Our running game is always going to be great. They will stack the box until our passing game is proven.

Defense will be fast or faster. It just takes time and experience.

A&M kinda did it, I think we could too.

After 2011 A&M lost:

Tannehill: 3700 yards 29 TDs (leading passer)

Cyrus Gray: 1045 rush yards 10 TDs (leading rusher)

Jeff Fuller: 828 receiving yards 6 TDs (2nd leading WR)

I know we don't have a Manziel, but I tend to believe Brandon Harris could be a superstar. A&M didn't have a phenom at tailback, nor did they have a #1 overall WR, or the greatest WR statistically speaking to ever play high school ball.

They're young, but that tends to be the trend these days in college football, maybe LSU is just the next team with some star freshmen.

It for sure could happen and I for one will be hoping that it does. With Our Oline and Magee, Hilliard, and LF in the back field we should be ok in the very least on offense. Just hope we can get other teams to stack the box and make them Pay like JJ could not do with any consistency.

If we can get any kind of consistency out of our passing game we gonna shock some teams this year

I personally believe if the entire LSU team plays well, the team will be good.
