Had to be the 90's right? I feel like that's when a shitstorm of the culmination of tanning salons, private gyms, gelled hair, tribal tattoos/ asian lettering, rap music, fitted hats, board shorts/long basketball shorts, reality tv, Hollister/Abercrombie, dietary supplements, white sunglasses, sound systems, bling, and "sneakers" all came in as a whirlwind of douschebaggery. Is it because there is more expendable income and cheaply manufactured chinese crap all over the place? These have lasted all the way to 2014 and I don't see them going anywhere. Who's to blame?

Personally I blame Justin Timberlake, Marshall Mathers, Bill Clinton, and corporate greed.

Justin Timberlake, Marshall Mathers

Didn't these two get big around 99? Not the best reps for 90's music.

The 90s bring new questions, new solutions to be found.

I fell in love to be let down.

Early 90's hip hop is the worst music in history. Not rap. Hip Hop. The clothes also that coincided was horrible.
