My mind was blown trying to figure out how that would work.

Man, I've got a choice to make. What would you do if you were you?

I can go to the Block 15 tap takeover at Hop and Vine. Sticky Hands DIPA, 100% Gangstah (IPA fermented with Brett), Imagine (Imperial Stout), and Bon Voyage (Rum BA Imperial Porter w/coconut) are featured.

Tomorrow night, I can go to The Beermongers and they have a tap takeover by Barley Brown's and Melvin. Melvin is not distributed in Oregon, so that's a draw there.

Damn... Might come down to a coin toss...

I appreciate that. I really do... But this does nothing to help me with my dilemma...

I'm leaning in that direction, because of the variety of other beers...

Barley Brown's and Melvin is going to be an IPA clinic, though. I would love to try Melvin's 2x4 IIPA.

This would be big for me. If I can't normally get something, well, that makes it more appealing.

The Block 15 stuff sounds good, but you pretty regularly get Sticky Hands. Plus the last beer on the last has rum barrels (pass) and coconut (R2R )

Me, too, but the Block 15 beers are not available in Portland (with the exception of the Sticky Hands, of course). I can drive to Corvallis to get them on release day, but that's not realistic for me on a regular basis. Other than the Sticky Hands, I have never tried the any of the other beers they are featuring.

On the flip side, I've never tied Melvin's stuff and I'm not sure what Barley Brown's will be bringing. Both of those breweries make some of the best IPA's in the world.
