Was having a conversation with a friend who suggested that I don't trust my SO. I've come to the conclusion that it's more faith than trust. Is this true or does it just develop over time?

Very much. She wouldn't be my SO if I didn't

Did this develop over a long period of time?

Well catching them once makes its hard to ever really trust them again.

When you've been on both sides, you'll then understand what trust is.

My ex, I didn't trust for shite. I caught her in numerous lies and situations where time frames didn't add up. The girl I've been with for the last 2 years is squeaky clean. She travels a lot for work, so if she wanted to cheat it would be insanely easy for her and myself due to being apart so much.
Not once has she done or said anything to make me question her at all. We both 100% trust each other.
We actually had this discussion over the weekend.

With money, frick no. But I trust her to walk through a hall of dicks and not touch one. To be honest, IDK which one is worse.

That's just about where I'm at with it. Family excluded (somewhat).

The cup is already broken. I enjoy it while I have it because some day, it will be broken and nothing will put it back together. All life, all things are temporal by nature. Drink from the cup while it is whole.

All philosophy aside, yes, I absolutely trust her. If she's dating me (a step or two down on the socio/economic ladder, several steps down on the looks latter, ect), I don't have anything to worry about. Clearly, for reasons far beyond my understanding, she loves me for who I am. I really don't get the appeal, myself
