Blackberry Muffins are a Good Use for Fresh Blackberries

Someone brought me some blackberry muffins. They're delicious. Looks like a bunch of whole blackberries were added. If you are looking for something to do with your fresh blackberries, these are good. I'm sure they would freeze well.

I had a Marionberry (a type of blackberry)muffin for breakfast this morning. It was like a bran muffin that had 6 or 8 whole Marionberries in it. Seemed like half the muffin was made of berries...

It was delicious. They are my favorite kind of berry.

Grow up eating Marionberry preserves on my biscuits. Basically anything I could put them on I would. Delectable.

Blackberries are not in season, yet, here. The muffin I had must have used imported berries.

The bushes are flowering, so we should have some berries in a few weeks. Really lookin forward to it. There are so many f'ing blackberries here that I'm going to be sick and tired of them before the season is done. It'll be a great ride, though. Jam, pie, cobbler, muffins, etc...
