Thanks for the replies. I picked some up at Albertsons and it was decent. The wife liked it, so she'll drink the rest of the 6er, and I dont plan to buy more.

The Albertson's on College right off the interstate will probably have it.

The wife just bought one bottle to try. What does it taste like?

I'm usually not too high on Abita unless its on tap.

Sounds like a shitty beer trying to sell on the gimmick of a Southern nickname.

In their defense, I like some of their beers, but this one in particular just seems like a way to make quick sales. I like their draught beers quite a bit.

Yeah, Abita gets shite on regularly on this board. I don't know anyone that claims it to be God's gift to beer. They have a few that I enjoy, especially on draught.

Their purple haze is just a delight on draft.

Well, yeah, seersucker clothing has nothing to do with alcohol, of course it's a way to get sales
