Just recently tried Fat Tire. I enjoyed it. I was curious if the beer people here would recommend any of their other brews and what they think of them.

I am a fan of Sunshine during the Spring/Summer..IMHO, Transatlantique Kriek is the best thing they put out....

Summer Helles, Spring Blonde, Ranger IPA and Shift are all solid and consistent beers in my opinion.

Alot of people of people hate on SHIFT, but I still think it's a good beer.

Accumulation is a good beer also, but its one of their winter seasonals.

I do not care for Snapshot.

The Lips of Faith / Transatlantique Kriek looks interesting.

Would that happen to have a good chance of being at Calvins Bocage ? I assume they sell beer in there, just never have purchased anything but chicken salad there

Shift should be renamed shite. It's an awful beer. There's literally no argument you can make for it. Sure, it's a lighter beer in a can. There are plenty of other options for that.

Ranger is meh. La Folie and Le Terroir are their best offerings. Transatlantique Kriek is a step below that.

A bigger step down is their Accumulation, but as mentioned it's a winter seasonal.

1554 is drinkable. Other than that, it's really not worth buying. You can find much better examples of every other style that are just as readily available.

Sunshine and Snapshot both are wheat beers it seems. Which is better?

I've had neither. Never really interested me.

Perhaps find a place that does the "build your own 6-pack" and try them all for yourself?

Sunshine is a typical American Wheat beer, nothing exciting, nothing offensive.

Snapshot is an American Wheat beer with part of the beer soured with lactobacillus. This gives snapshot a slight 'lemony'/ tangy character that isn't present in a typical American Wheat beer.

Both are a good starting place for someone getting into craft beer. I'd recommend buying one of each at a place that sells by the bottle before buying a six pack of either.

Their regular lineup is average, but when you consider the price point it's solid. The limited releases and collabs are hit or miss, but some of their sours are really, really good.

I've had Le terroire and it was good
