Did Robichaux throw in the towel by putting Harrison in?

IMO, yes.

I haven't seen much backlash from USL fans about this. A fan base that wants to win would have been calling for his head.

Maybe if this were pro sports.

I did not understand trying to steal 2nd with the tying run at the plate, nor trying to score the guy on the double when they could've had 2nd and 3rd with two outs.

IMO they played scared and desperate, when in reality they were the home team playing in their own ball park.

He can pitch. It's not like if the Angels put Pujols on the mound.

No, they played aggressive. And I haven't watched ULL at all this year, but from my understanding that is their style.

That style can win you games.. but it can also lose you games.

I think they should've waited until it was 2-2 to steal. They had just picked about four times with a 1-2 count, so they had a pitch to burn on a pitchout. Sending Adams was the right call. He runs very well and the odds of getting another 2 out hit are against you.

They played the same way they had played all year.

No. They needed a ground ball, and with Harry's breaking ball you have a good shot at getting one. Wilson got touched up the day before and Bazar has some control issues.

It is their style.

But playing aggressive when you're up in a ballgame in the Sun Belt vs down a few runs to a CWS caliber teams is a different story. OM had pitching depth and their lineup could swing it top to bottom. UL needed runs, not to run themselves out of possible big innings.

You send the guy with two outs. That isn't playing aggressive, that is percentage baseball.

The final score is not indicative of how close of a game it really was. For 8 innings the Cajuns were only a swing or two away from it being a different game

The pitcher threw over to first about 6 times. They KNEW he was ready to steal. It was obvious they were going to pitch out the next time he went home. They could have waited and forced them to throw a pitch to steal on. That was a bad call to steal right then.

Yeah, if the ball was in the LF corner. The LF was picking the ball up in mid LF when the runner was rounding 3rd.

You got the best offense in college baseball, I believe? Let em swing it

You have to make them make the play. It was going to take two good throws for them to get Adams, tip your cap to them that they were able to do it
