I'm wanting to have a good meal with 7 other people friday night in lafayette. I was thinking about maybe social or pamplona, but was wondering if any of you locals could offer some recommendations

Café Vermilionville on Pinhook is always a good choice - depending on how much credit you have remaining on your card.

Social
Ruffino's
Pamplona
Those are my top three. You could also try Bread and Circus or Brick and Spoon

ETA: To have reservations at Social, you must have a party of 8 or more.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions. We will most likely end up at social.
