I'll be driving 16 hours from Columbus OH to Lafyette LA in July.

I havent picked up a book in years... Any suggestions from the OT?

I like sports, Thrillers and comedy. Also not opposed to history.

i'd suggest something funny, time always passes faster when you are laughing throughout.

I'm currently reading Anthony Bourdain's book, Kitchen Confidential. I saw the library has an audio version.

The Joe Ledger series is pretty good. The guy who reads books 1 and 2 is ok, but the guy for the other books is legit.

Also the Dresden Files is legit.

American Assassin by Vince Flynn. Have to be careful with books on tape. Some of the narrators are awful. I have listened to American Assassin and the narrator does a good job. Great book too.

Check out the audio book bay if you want to "borrow" audio books.

our local library has a good selection of audio books, I was thinking of trying some of the Vince Flynn stuff.

A good spy action book keeps me awake for long drives. If you like that sort of thing too, try a Robert Ludlum book. Like the Bourne series or the Covert One series.

You should. His books are awesome. Transfer of Power and American Assassin are my two favorites of his.
