LSU leads in crystal ball predictions (I know only means so much) for 6 of the top 36 players in the 247 composite for 2016. All six are composite five stars

4. Keion Joyner, LB
8. Ed Alexander, DT
17. Willie Allen, OT
27. John Broussard, CB
30. Kristian Fulton, CB
36. Darnell Salomon, WR

Great crop of talent in the state for 2016
Tons of quarterbacks...I'd like to add one in addition to Franks, and several other schools are going to enjoy the QBs in the state

Every one of those kids are elite. I know it goes without saying but if we landed that crop, it would rival the 2014 class depending on how that class rounded out. Damn that's some top end talent.

I mean, i'm not sure how many people are "banking" on him, but you have to like our chances.

Also, does solomon have ties to LSU? I guess i've overlooked his name on 24/7

Y is that? Because other schools broke recruiting rules during the non-contact period?

If we were to lose Ed, it would be the 4th year in a row that we lose the highest rated in-state defensive lineman in the class.
Eta: at least according to the recruiting sites, anyway.

If this board and recruiting have taught me anything...

I will pick two of those to stick with, and then plan to book on 4 other elite unexpected OOS names that commit just in time to save the RB from mass suicide.

I know that EA decommitted. Who do we have to worry about as the main competition? Also, was his change of heart just to "enjoy the process"?

I think Sullivan could earn a 5th star by the end of 2014. The kid is a monster.

There's no reason he shouldn't be a 5 star already.

There is a reason. The Bama homers are keeping score.
