Why does the IT Dept only allow 15 highlight colors in Microsoft Word ?

sounds about right...I just got a call 15 minutes before quitting time asking me to explain to the new person how to login to the computer.

I didn't even know there was a new person, much less set them up as a user. I guess she's just been bangin away at the keyboard using random username and passwords trying to login

So I just had a user ask me why she can't see photos in her network folder. She just gets a blank directory.


She was trying to open jpegs in Word.

Either that was your impression of a user, or putting it in quotes was good enough to make you look. I completely made it up and was suggesting it as a response for next time.

They could definitely do lots more. I think you can do the color palette with those, not to mention changing the color of the text.

I've actually used a color-code system like this before between like things while counting requirements that are of two different subtypes.
