Does your wife do all your grocery shopping at Whole Foods?

And if so have you seen a marked increase in your grocery bill over a place like Dorignac's, Rouses or the larger big boxes? My wife refuses to go anywhere else because 1) atmosphere and 2) she's bought into the all organic myth. She swears that prices are relatively similar. Is this a fight I shouldn't pick with a stay at home mom who does all the grocery shopping?

We either shop at Whole Foods or order from Fresh Direct. Whole Foods is the only real grocery store within walking distance of my place.

You are allowed to open and sample ANYTHING at Trader Joes, even the booze! Google it if you don't believe me.

we buy most of our produce and meats at wholefoods and everything else at the local grocery. spend a few dollars more a week but not enough to make a noticable difference

We switched from shopping at Walmart for our food items to shopping at Whole foods. The difference in price per trip was maybe $10-$20. The atmosphere at whole foods is worth that alone. I find better produce and meats at whole foods.

my fiancee goes to whole foods most of the time unless there happens to be an albertsons/winn dixie on the way. i do most of the grocery shopping though, so it doesnt make a big difference in the grocery bills.

i go to whole foods sometimes because it's convenient and they have some stuff that no where else carries. when i go i always wind up picking up some random shite like apples (same price as albertsons) or seeduction bread ($4.99/loaf, not a huge loss there in total dollars). i try to stock up on staple items like peanut butter or cereal at the wal marks when i go (about once every 2-3 wks).

There isn't a Whole Foods near my house but I work across from one. All I know about Whole Foods is apparently only attractive people shop there and the shrimp wrap from the grill is fricking awesome.
