When will the C-USA come calling for ULL?

Great year in softball, and have been good for a good while
Baseball is always decent to good..and puts together some great runs
Football, we don't know. They are doing well in the Sun Belt, but how does that translate to better competition?
I think they would be a good addition. In 5 years, 90% of the SBC will have been FCS in 2010, IMO

I think it would be awesome for UL to get upgraded to a larger conference, all of the athletic teams have been performing at a high level in the Sun Belt, so it would be interesting to see what road they will take.

No one will come calling from a larger conference until the major improvements are done to athletic facilities and the athletic budget increases. Seems we are a day late and dollar short of starting these improvements since Cusa is now at 14 teams.

I talked to a ULL donor about a conference upgrade and he claims the athletic budget is what's holding them back.
