Question about Donald Stirling and the NBA. Regarding his Ban & Fine.

Since Stirling is selling the team, how is the NBA going to be able to collect their 2.5 million that they fined him? Are they just going to take that cut from the sale of the team? How does that work?

They aren't.

They dropped it when he agreed to sell.

Not according to today's advocate. Silver was quoted as saying that there was no way that the ban or the fine will be rescinded regardless of sale.
