LTE speed is dictated more by the wireless provider than the phone.

I get the Apple hate, I really do. It's like mainstream radio to hardcore underground music fans. Regardless of the bashing, they are still going to sell the tits out of these.
Also, the operating system shits on any other platform as far as smoothness and ease go.

This statement alone goes to show how much clout Apple has in the market. Despite Android's higher market share and almost all recent Android phones shipping with NFC, the technology hasn't really taken off in terms of mobile payments. But if Apple gets on board, you can bet there will be some serious push by stores to adopt NFC quickly. I wonder how this will tie into Apple's iBeacon efforts though. I also read somewhere that Apple might work with Paypal to do something in the mobile payments space. I can't wait for the day when I can leave all my credit cards at home and just use my phone to pay for stuff. After all the Japanese have been doing this for about a decade now. About time the US catches on.
