I have been looking at a lot of stories pulling at the heartstrings of their readers, and their timing seems impeccable. Guess they are readying for the big amnesty push.

Yes, and it will happen. More Americans will lose jobs, and more people on government assistance. Americans continue to lose ground.

They know the Emperor wants to change the US, and what better way to change the distribution of power, by creating debt that someone else has to pay for, and a voting block that will steal the rest from those that have any assets left. The goal is to make everyone poorer.....Then, you have them where you want them...

Someone should look into who is telling them to come here.

The media supports immigrant labor because corporations do. Not because either political parties to.

Lol

The only reason Repubs don't support this shite is the 2014 primaries. I fully expect incumbents that get through primaries to jump on board.

Yet you think what I said is funny?

Why do you think Republicans get limp on immigration in national politics? Seriously, it's the corporate lobby.

No. My point is, if there are a rough 50% head count in terms of our population that are conservatives that still believe in the 2nd amendment, then they have LESS of an ability to pull this off unless it's as it always has been... slow and over a long period of time.

I sure as hell hope no revolution happens.

Win or loss on the conservatives' side, if that many people were willing to die for that cause, it would knock the "new America" (if you will) so far back in time it would be pointless.

*edit*

They're going to have to find a way to get the guns out of our hands. In 100 years from now, who knows? There may be few enough of us left to make a difference if we stood. NOT that the government has -that- much of a direct/conscious will to govern its people so in depth or truly be socialist/communist anyway.

"Amnesty rammed through"

Lol

You realize that this has been an issue for over 30 years. And all of these years later, it's an attempt to ram it through?

When will people realize that deporting 10million people is not economically feasible. And that by definition, anything short of deportation is amnesty.

It's this mindset that numbs politics.
And it is the reason why someone will create a thread 30 years from now after nothing has been done to address the issue, and they will reference ,"ramming it through by the media."

Yeah. The heads of the networks meet monthly and, as I understand it, this tactic was approved almost unanimously with only a couple of "no" votes. As usually, the minutes of the meeting are encrypted so we can't see a copy (this was Eric Holder's idea . . . he's on the advisory board for the MSM).

Downvote me all you want, but these are third world people who are entirely willing to give up liberty in order to gain state security. The only problem is that such security comes out of the pocket of anglo-saxon Americans, whose ancestors founded the nation and preserved it.

I am against open borders, mainly because it goes against me and my family's best interests.. BUT if you're a fan of true freedom then you'd support the free movement of people and labor.

If you make it so that working here is difficult or undesirable then those people will self deport.

Go after the employers. Hard.

What does "amnesty" do for a 12 year old kid here by himself, anyway?

I appreciate the problem (and the laws we have on the books to address the issue) in large part has been ignored for quite some time....decades.

My observation in the past week is a lot of chatter and images of poor illegal aliens and their children in deplorable conditions. Coordinated or not by the media, the Administration and Republican "leaders" are bringing the "crisis" to the table again.
