With the new Ball coming next year I think the swinging for the fences mentality might payoff for us. It was easy to bash Javi when it did not work out, but after remembering that the ball will change next year there is hope. The new ball averaged 20 feet further. Could you imagine how many hits this would have impacted for LSU this year

Would have to do some digging but we obviously lost players from '91 (Ogea, Hymel, Mouton ???). Although the '92 class was among our all-time best (Walker, Johnson, Williams) and we dominated the SEC tournament I guess they weren't ready for post-season.

Now I am pissed LSU has been playing in the playoffs since the 90's. I have been getting screwed just watching regionals.

No. People laugh at our fan base because of all the threads filled with armchair quarterbacks who think that because they played little league until third grade they know more than a national champion coach. Positivity and a hopeful future for our sports are not why people think of our fan base as a joke.
