I've never planted these or limas or cream peas until this year. They all are producing but I have no clue when to pick. Do they dry as they grow and then pick? I also did not document when I planted. I'd say beginning of April.

Tried on the Outdoor Board but apparently all the farmers are fishing.

Screwein with u.

Purple hull peas ready when the hulls turn purple and the are full.

Speckled butter beans will be the same, alas th purple. If the shells are full size and feel full.... Open a few and check the bean size. If they are full, get to pickin.

The moon? The frick I look like? Mr. Green jeans? Or someone that actually knows what he's doing?

No this is my first at peas and butter beans. I'm picking rattlesnake pole beans like mad, tons of sugar snaps but the heat is getting to them, few squash okra, cucumbers but not many tomatos. They just don't look too good but I'm nursing them along. Old man said put a bunch of triple thirteen which I did. Three days later another old man said frick 13 use 8-24-24. Old farts need to make up their mind.

Johnny Naylor just said the aren't quite ready. Getting full but still green.
