Corey seems to be going through menopause this season.

I realize the show is scripted, but his constant whining isn't even funny anymore.

I'm waiting for Rick to snap and shoot him with a blunderbuss.

Well get ready for Pawnography this fall....it's a game show where contestants answer trivia questions against the Pawn Stars guys and then they try to bargain with the winner somehow to take prizes from the store or cash.

I auditioned for it but didn't get picked.

Hmmm, I am not too certain about the value of this thread, but I have a buddy who knows all about this kind of stuff. Would ya'll mind if I gave him a call and got him down here to read this?

That fat-arse kid and his fatty friend suck.

It would be better if Rick Harrison did the show by himself with occasional comic relief from his father.

Holy crap I thought you were joking about Pawnography until I googled it.

I just wish History would go back to legitimate educational programming like Ancient Aliens or UFO Files with the crazy old man in the bomber jacket who believed all sighting and abduction stories are real.

WTF!? I was so sure this was a joke I wouldn't have even thought to google it until seeing your post, and then I STILL thought it was a troll. That is just ridiculous.

Would've been a funny joke. Now I'm just sad.

Speaking of things like this, does anyone miss the old Travel Channel programing? They used to have good shows on Vegas and other cities, No Reservations, etc. Now not so much.

They only show like 4 episodes during their marathons, I wasn't aware there were new seasons

That show blows. I can't believe that people enjoy scripted television. Maybe it's entertaining, but I can't handle blatant lies sold as truth.

It makes for great late night TV as I'm drifting off to sleep. Some old dude brought in a Winchester rifle last night, the barrel all shot up, barely any rifling left, and wanted $35,000 for it. I think they offered him $20,000.

And another lady brought in a pair of dinosaur eggs, wanting $20,000. She ended up walking out with under a grand.

The one that actually interested me was this guy with a set of paintings from some guy in the 90s that was a graffiti artist. Of course Rick brought in his expert friend to take a look at them, and he ended up buying the pair of them for $48,000. Insane what some things go for. The guy was going to buy a nice new truck with it.

I'm not the only person that thinks Chumlee and Cory spent some of their TV money on gastric bypass surgery, am I?

Shows like Pawn Stars really annoy me. Its Memorial Day, and I want to watch a documentary on WWII, but instead History has an American Pickers marathon. Just like The Learning Channel used to have shows about, you know, learning stuff. And you could discover things on the Discovery Channel. Now its all pre-scripted reality television. Speaks volumes about our culture.

I'm with you. People eat it up but it just bugs me. Why not just watch a normal show that doesn't disguise itself as "reality tv" and is, you know, actually good.

How about a new show called "American Looters?" Maybe get the guy from New Orleans and a sidekick in a van driving around the country while a gal assistant is at the home base checking social media for folks on vacation. Or sometimes, they just go freestylin' around neighborhoods looking for opportunities.

There could even be a pawn shop/fence component where when the looters go to sell their goods, and an expert appraises them. "In this condition, I would value this ring at $2,000. I'll give you 50 bucks."
