non tourist traps in Punta Cana

Anyone been lately? Really not interested in touristy stuff that I can do here. We have a few hikes we have planned. Of course she wants to swim with the dolphins. Any other ideas?

Punta Cana is a tourist trap, in the sense that it was built as a tourist resort, much like Cancun.
