Not everyone has seen CYE but have seen Seinfeld and this is basically a mini documentary worth the time.

Curb Your Enthusiasm is great. It's Seinfeld without the restraint of TV censorship.

I just recently started this series for the first time, hadn't seen any episodes beforehand. I'm about 2 episodes into season 3 and I dig it. Does the general "feel" of the show (basically, the funny-ness) keep on like this throughout, or are there certain seasons you can point to and say they were better than others?

S1 wasn't all that great, I liked 2 better for sure though.

It gets better every season.

I'm still on my first watch through and watched the Palestiney chicken episode from Season 8 (most recent season) and it's by far my favorite of the series so far

Larry David is just comedy god

Its more like some episodes are better than others, kind of like southpark. But generally, it has gotten better each season.

To me, there are probably 3-5 episodes that validate the entire series as awesome.

The thing I love about the show are the one episode side characters, that all seem yo have Larry figured out the moment they meet him. Seinfeld was great with side characters as well.

I think the series gets kicked up a notch when they introduce Leon in Season 6. Hell, I would watch a series that was nothing but Larry and JB Smoove traveling around the country, trying to discover the real America and riffing off of each other.

Larry has an open door policy with HBO. Which is pretty legit if you think about it.

Jeff Garland admitted Larry doesn't want to do it anymore. All of the cast has moved on to other commitments anyway.

That Clear History movie was basically a super-sized version of Curb, except with bigger guest stars like Jon Hamm, Kate Hudson and Danny McBride.

And yet this is the longest hiatus he has ever taken. Plus Garland is busy with The Goldbergs and J.B. Smooth is busy with The Millers. And Larry is busy managing a soccer team...

Has anyone ever explained why Jerry Stiller wasn't there?
